What we do


Talis Consulting Limited is a company which specialises in the provision of Clinical and Neuropsychology services.

Here at Talis Consulting Limited, we have extensive experience of Expert Witness work over many years in Civil, Criminal, Family Courts as well as the Court of Protection.

Our Consultants provide individual, couple, family and group services in the context of both Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology. In addition, we have considerable experience of undertaking specific Parenting Assessments for the Courts.

Our customers include Solicitors, Courts, Insurance Companies, Private Healthcare Companies, Local Health Boards and Trusts, Local Authorities and the Police.

We cover all of South Wales, West and East Wales, Bristol, the M4 Corridor and London (Harley Street) . We welcome all enquiries.



Clinical Neuropsychology:


We offer assessments, Medicolegal Expert Witness reports, treatments and evaluations for individuals in the context of head or brain injury; epilepsy; brain tumours; brain infections; strokes and degenerative conditions such as the Dementias; accidental ingestion or exposure to toxic substances; Locked-In Syndrome and bain injury as a result of metabolic disorders (such as Diabetes). We provide training, supervision and mentoring for staff working with our patients. We have experience of placing Assistant Psychologists to work with named patients in their homes and local communities in a supporting role. Our service provision is for all levels of cognitive ability.

We have extensive experience of capacity assessments both under the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and related legislation and specifically in relation to: capacity to manage one’s own money and affairs; to make welfare decisions (such as where to live); testamentary capacity; capacity to instruct a solicitor and litigate and fitness to plead (in Criminal Proceedings); and capacity to consent to a sexual relationship (Sexual Offences Act 2003).

Clinical Psychology:


We offer assessments, reports, treatments and evaluations for individuals, couples, families and groups for psychological difficulties due to: accidents and assaults; chronic pain; developmental learning disabilities; challenging behaviours and addictions. We welcome the opportunity to work with staff groups around named patients.
